SEMINOLE
COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- For 74 days Orange County
Sheriff's investigators have been searching for Caylee Marie Anthony
and Friday investigators released new details on exactly what they've
uncovered.
Among the items released Friday were DVD’s, CD’s and
pages and pages of evidence. The information included a taped interview
with Cindy Anthony, audio interviews with George Anthony and others,
photographs, text message and instant messages.
The DVD includes
a conversation with Cindy Anthony, Caylee's grandmother, had with
investigators on July 31st. Caylee had been reported missing 16 days
earlier and Casey was still in jail. Cindy talked with detectives about
who she thought was involved in her granddaughter's disappearance.
The
Anthony’s tried to do some detective work of their own and come up with
their own theories Cindy told investigators. They also asked Casey to
fill in the blanks during her video conference interviews with dad
George, brother Lee and mom Cindy from jail.
But according to
investigators even once she was behind bars Casey continued telling
lies. On the tape lead investigator Yuri Melich fills Cindy in on what
detectives have discovered.
Its obvious throughout the tape
that while Cindy Anthony admits her daughter hasn't quite told her the
truth about where she's been she does believe that Caylee was with a
mystery nanny and to this day she still believes that.
Also
among the many documents included in the 600 pages of discovery was a
letter Casey Anthony wrote to Orange County sheriff Kevin Beary. It
reads in part... ‘If there is any way that I can have a meeting set-up
with my father (George Anthony) I would in every way appreciate it.
“I know it is an unusual request but it is important, nonetheless.”
